Nestled in the heart of Costa Mesa, Neat Coffee was founded by Ally Garvin in 2015. Ally's passion for coffee ignited during a year in Uganda, where she and her husband, David, immersed themselves in the coffee farming process—from cherry to cup. This transformative experience inspired Ally to create a space back home that embodies the communal spirit of coffee.
Neat Coffee began as a one-woman operation in a nondescript office park, with Ally handling everything from brewing to customer service. Over the years, the team has grown, but the mission remains the same: to offer a friendly neighborhood spot where patrons can enjoy excellent coffee, engage with kind and knowledgeable baristas, and connect with the community. There’s also a bustling run club!
As a multi-roaster shop, Neat Coffee showcases some of the West Coast's finest and most sustainable roasters. Their simple yet thoughtful food and drink menu, complemented by house-made seasonal syrups and locally made almond milk, is designed to provide respite from the busyness of life.
